Cute Fall or Halloween Cards 4 Kids at SAS4Kids

It’s time for another fun challenge at Send a Smile 4 Kids and this week our theme is Cute Fall or Halloween Card 4 Kids. You may wonder why we are encouraging you to make this type of card this early. It is because we would like to encourage you to consider sending in your cards for our kids who are inpatient in children’s hospitals over the Halloween holiday. We need to receive them early enough to get them to the 8 children’s hospitals we now serve in time for the holiday. You do not have to send in your cards to participate in our challenges, but our kids would sure love it if you did! And please remember- no tombstones or scary Halloween cards- keep them fun and appropriate for children of any age.

SAS4Kids has three very generous sponsors this week so you have three chances to win a random prize! Whimsy Stamps is giving their winner 5 digis of their choice! Crackerbox Palace’s prize is a $15 gift certificate! And Clear Dollar Stamps is also giving their random winner a $15 gift certificate!   TEAM S.A.S will be choosing their favorite cards for our top three and the winners will receive a blog badge and an opportunity to be a guest design team member on a future challenge. Please visit the blog for all the details and to see the fantastic cards by the SAS4Kids design team.

My first card features a fun Halloween car and joke from Crackerbox Palace. This set was one the first ones I bought from Crackerbox Palace because my grandson loves to tell jokes, so I figured many of our kids would love it too. Here is the punchline:

Ha-ha:) My second card is a CAS autumn card with a great pumpkin image and sentiment from Clear Dollar Stamps and some burlap for the background.

Football is starting and school is starting and I am getting in the mood for fall and Halloween cards. How about you?

I am entering these cards in the Celebrate challenge at Divas by Design (celebrating fall and Halloween) and the challenge at The Perfect Sentiment for anything goes with a sentiment.

Stamping smiles, Karen

These are great cards Karen - that first one with the joke is hilarious and made me chuckle.

What a fun card for a child. When I saw it, I just had to know the answer. I'm glad you showed us what was under the flap. Some boy in the hospital will love it, too. Thank you for sharing with us at The Perfect Sentiments Challenge.

Got to tell you that the Boo-ick card that you sent to the store is always picked up and looked at, they like the idea of the flip up card. Thanks Karen
